Sometimes I think that there should be an opportunity to do a registry every 5 years of marriage or so. My husband and I just celebrated 6 years and we definitely need new towels.:) It can be hard to get started on your registry list simply because you don't really know what you will need. Here are some ideas for getting started.
1. Decide on what style of home you want- country, modern, vintage etc.
2. Take inventory- what things do you need or want to replace, and do you have any items you dream of having.
3. Shop in person- online is good for ideas but you really want to see and touch things yourself. (I bought pillows online that looked blue on my computer monitor but when I got them they were brown).
4. Register at multiple stores- a good number is 3 different places that have a combination of online and in person shopping available.
5. Register for things at different price points- pick things at small, medium and high price points.
