Inspiration- "The Knot, Ultimate Wedding Lookbook"
I am totally in love with the book "The Knot, Ultimate Planning Lookbook". I first got it from the library and loved it so much I had to purchase my own for the shop. I love that it shows different combinations of colors, seasons and options while giving practical tips. I know that Borders is going out of business and I saw a few there when I went last time. If you don't feel like buying one for yourself come on into the shop and take a look at mine.

When Dreams Meet Reality

It is hard not to get caught up in all the things you oould have for your wedding. You look at bridal magazines, watch the bridal shows and then you are disappointed when you can't have what you think you want. I have begun to think that you should start out by saying this is what I have to spend, what can I have. Here is a great article that talks more about how to change your thinking.

The Flowers- Part 2

You may have always envisioned many flowers when you dreamed about your wedding and when you view your reception site for the first time it was no different. Unfortunately this is one aspect of the wedding that can make your budget go higher and higher. Talk to your florist about using flowers that are in season to their best advantage. You can then fill in the rest of the decor with greenery and candles. If you really desire the flower decor check out you local botanical gardens and consider hosting your event there.
